Radiator Repair / Replacement

Radiator Replacement Raleigh, Durango Auto Service

Just because the car is not overheating, does not mean the radiator is not due for maintenance, replacement or at the very least, inspection.

Do you smell antifreeze?  Not sure what antifreeze smells like when driving your car?.  Waffles! Or more specifically, maple syrup.

A sweet order that can sometimes smell like maple syrup coming from the engine or inside the car.

This can be a sign that the radiator or heater core (you car heaters radiator) is seeping fluid, not leaking to the point of over heating, just seeping fluid or a leaky radiator hose.

If the radiator fails and the engine over heats and head warps, how much more is it to replace the motor and the radiator?.

The most common way of inspection is to looks for water seepage near the hose endings, a more advanced and more accurate way is to check the system under pressure.

No matter how you inspect it, experience is the key.  Its a good time to check for soft spots in the hoses also.

Always cheaper to maintain...
